Today is the second meet up with the community. The things we are going to teach the children today is how to use searching engine. There are several type of search engine such as Yahoo, Google, Bing, Baidu, etc. We only choose one of the search engine which is the Google to teach them.
We teach them the basic skills to search and filter post or website that related with their topic. Beside, we also teach them how to use Google Translate and the Google Maps. Instead of the theory knowledge we let them to use the computer and practical all the skills.

Week 2-Computer Skills Learning
Today is my second time seeing my child. My task is to teach her how to use Google search. I try to teach her some skills using Google search and use some shortcut keys to operate, but due to my Malay language is not very good, so I can only explain to her with the power of a companion, and we also use projectors and microphones to show them the power of Google search.
After a short break, I found out that my child could already skillfully search for what she wanted to see, and she preferred to watch TV shows.

Today, we taught the kids how to google.
Well, most of them are more pro than us though, Internet has become everyday life for the current generation, they have already known how to google the things they wanted.
It's crucial to be able to "google" out the things, we were only able to meet up once a week, most of the time, kids have to deal with the problems themselves, or via Mr Google.

Week 1-Ice breaking week
Today is the first meeting of our faculty's social engagement e-learning program. I am looking forward to my kid, and I already know my child name in advance, Fida Binti Azmil, so I guess she should be a girl. When I first met her, she was a little shy, and I couldn't speak Malay, it would be difficult to communicate, but I still tried to understand what she said, since today is the first week, we do not start out tuition yet, and we took the children to visit our faculty. Waiting for the next meet up!
Week 1 - Ice breaking(by Ang Chun Wah)
13 March 2018, today is the first day of the face to face meeting to the community of my social engagement project. My team consists of 11 members including 3 international students came from China. Each of us will take care one child as our 'adik'(meetee). Those children are primary school standard 6 students. They will take the PSAR (previously known as UPSR) this year and our task is help them for the preparation of the exam.
Before the meeting, I am afraid that I cannot communicate well with those children as I am weak in social with people. However, those children are so active and friendly to get alone. The ice breaking session is done quite perfect as all of us can communicate well with the children.
Introducing themselves to us and vice versa.
They are excited to take a look of our faculty.
Walk around FSKTM and let them knew the place so that they won't get lost!
Week 1 - Start of Nightmare? Or Sweet Dream!
Start of Nightmare? Or Sweet Dream!
By Chin Jia Xiong
First day with these adorable kids.
At first, none of us stood up to play with them.. the situation was so awkward /.\ But, we had the responsibility to build the memory of these kids, to make sure that they could be more eager to learn, and to work harder for UPSR.
So, accomplish the first task: Make sure everyone knew each other well.
I volunteered to organize a simple game, to let them pronounce others' names. But soon, I found a huge problem: They memorized the names way faster than us! They did have some talents in memorization.
We already saw their potentials, and for the next few weeks, we will try our best to, let them love learning.
